Welcome to Polishes, Pages  and Purrs!

About six months ago, I became obsessed with all things nails.  Nail Polish, Nail Art, Monthly Subscription boxes, if it involved nails, I was in!!

I had a small problem though. I am a woman in her mid thirties who has never polished her nails before and the couple of times I had tried, it was a disaster.

Determined to succeed, I turned to the Internet for all the information I could find. I started reading blogs, watching videos and looking at pictures of nail art determined to teach my self.

IT WAS A SUCCESS!

Now, I want to provide others a place to come to for various information.  This blog will include information and reviews on nail polishes, nail art materials and various monthly subscription boxes.  Additionally, there will be how to information on a variety of nail topics.

You might be thinking, wait, where does Pages and Purrs come in?  Isn’t that the rest of the name of your blog?

I have been an avid reader since I was a little kid.  This blog will, also, include book reviews and suggestions.

In 1998, I met the man who is now my husband and his cat. I fell in love with the cat first so I had to marry the man.  Fast forward, sixteen years, which brings us to today and 3 additional cats and a bird (who does purr).  Throughout this blog, I will include anecdotes and tidbits about the feline population.
